Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
have been helping people with injuries and illnesses for many centuries, it can help you, too. It is very safe and effective.
A common statement new patients make is,
"I should have come here first".
No matter what your ailment, TCM & Acupuncture can improve your ability to heal.
Pain is not the only thing TCM treats. Take a look at the list on the "Can Acupuncture help me?" page.
In fact, it is an entire health care system developed by very intelligent people over a long period of time.
Strengthen the mind, body and spirit so the person
can heal and prevent future illnesses and injuries.
Better health for the entire family.
Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
works very well
for the vast majority of people.
TCM is the best form of natural medicine
(to get healthy and stay healthy)
Together with western medical diagnostics, Americans have a wonderful opportunity
to enjoy the benefits of both.
Be sure to bring your most recent medical reports about the issues
that concern you.
We can work well with your western physician since we understand that perspective as well as the Eastern Philosophy of Medicine.
In fact, most patients that go through the prescribed process
(by coming to appointments in a timely fashion)
for a course or two of treatments
find that most of their various problems start to clear up.
Sleep improves, stamina increases, appetite is moderated,
blood pressure corrects,
headaches improve or disappear completely.
This is the result of the "self-regulating & self-healing" properties of the human body. When "properly tuned-up", the body is an amazing "self-healing machine"
There are many possible choices, but Traditional Chinese Medicine states that there are 3 stages of treatments:
1. Health Recovery - going from sick to well
(or going from injured to restored)
2. Strengthing - improving overall energy production makes the body and its various organs to work properly.
3. Emergency - accidents and serious illnesses
(typically life-threatening or debilitating)
Treatment Plans consist of a number of sessions required to change the body's various "dysfunctions". Generally, 3 - 4 Sessions are needed to "Stabilize an issue". The more serious the issue, the more frequent the treatments and the more treatments will be necessary to make lasting results possible. After a few sessions, we will have an "Assessment Meeting". At that time, we will discuss your progress and your desire to continue, as well as your longer-range goals. Additional Sessions are usually needed based on severity of issues or the complexity of cases (chronic and/or multiple issues). 6 Sessions is considered a "short course of treatment" and 12 Sessions is considered a one course of treatment"
. Most people get enough relief from the first few sessions that they don't need to come back unless they reinjure or "over do it" soon after they start getting better. Please know that we intend to improve your situation as quickly as possible and would not treat anyone unless we thought we could help.
In very severe cases, issues that seem "hopeless", it is still better to give TCM a chance to help rather than "giving up" just because others were unable.
